Nueva Andalucia Beach in Puerto Banus consists of four small bays which have been created artificially by rocks. It is a popular beach with calm seas and excellent amenities including bars, four restaurants, showers, toilets, pedalo, windsurfing and ski jet rental. It is 1km long and 50 m wide with fine white Mediterranean sand. There are sun beds and parasols for hire and the beach is surrounded by a promenade. It is cleaned daily and watched over by life guards in the summer season.
Plaza Beach is in the main dock of Benabola next to the Puerto Banus yachting harbour close to many pubs, restaurants, boutiques, banks and shops. This is a young and lively beach with loud music, podium dancers and competitions at weekends. It has its own bar and restaurant as well as toilets and showers. There are sun beds and parasols for hire but don’t leave it too late getting there during the high season as this beach is busy, busy, busy.
Pedro’s Beach is the next but one from Plaza Beach (just past Club Moosh Moosh) and is situated in a small bay. It is popular with locals and a slightly older crowd with chill out music and an excellent bar/restaurant right on the beach. Cuisine has a Moroccan influence but the sardines are grilled on the beach and the fresh seafood here is fabulous.
